It can be downloaded for free from the Festival of Marketing website.

In the coming months we’ll be publishing further chapters focusing on topics such as Customer Experience, Digital Transformation, Personalisation, Content Marketing, Data & Analytics, and B2B.

The social chapter

So what does this social media chapter include?

I’ve detailed new stats from Econsultancy reports and third-party data to give an overview of the most important social media trends we’ve seen in 2015.

So for example, it briefly looks at emerging social platforms, the growth of Facebook video, and a case study on social ROI from Dutch airline KLM.

What to expect from the Festival of Marketing

Though we can’t yet reveal the first speakers we have confirmed for the Festival, I think we’ve so far managed to match and possibly even surpass last year’s line up.

To give some idea of the calibre of the speakers that will be appearing this year, in 2014 we welcomed brands such as Airbnb, KLM, Lego, Universal, Buzzfeed, Ryanair, Coca-Cola, Sony, Selfridges, and Gov.uk.

And to sprinkle some extra stardust we also invited Olympic and Tour de France champion Bradley Wiggins, rapper Professor Green, and former Labour government spin doctor Alastair Campbell.

You can expect a similar line up of the great and good from the world of marketing at this year’s event.

Tickets are already on sale, and if you buy before midnight tomorrow (17 July) you get a £200 early bird discount.
