If your brand is on Instagram and you’re still not posting videos, you’re not using the platform to its full potential.

Hopefully some the following clips will inspire your own Instagram video efforts, although obviously launching a rocket into space is not going to be an option for every brand.

This month we’re covering all the usual suspects, from the extreme sports action of Red Bull and GoPro to the beautiful nature shots of National Geographic, and much more.

GoPro

A satisfyingly long skateboarding compilation.

Reminds me of my youth, albeit with fewer scraped elbows and less complete failure to pull off a single trick.

Playstation

The only thing better than Playstation is Playstation in burger format. A mouth-wateringly clever clip.

Ikea

When I woke up this morning I turned to my wife and said, ‘You know what I’ve never seen? 29 years on Earth and I’ve never seen someone do a kickflip with a TV remote.’

Perhaps a little too uncannily, I came across this clip from Ikea today...

NASA

A pretty incredible angle of a rocket launch. This one is carrying an impressive 7,500 pounds of supplies to be delivered to the International Space Station.

That’s a lot of zero-gravity toilet paper...

Red Bull

A slightly different one from Red Bull this month in the sense that it shows something other than sporting perfection.

Do not watch if you have a heart condition.

Nike

This colourful slideshow should be enough to get anyone pumped up for Spring.

McDonald’s

There are two types of people in this world: those who find the idea of being rained on by crispy, salty French fries appealing, and those who are just wrong.

Which are you?

Intel

If your PC can do this, congratulations – you are officially in the top 0.5% nerdiest people on planet Earth. Also, I’m jealous.

National Geographic

This panoramic photo of some North Atlantic sea cliffs in St. Kilda makes you realise that Scotland is actually Westoros.

Flixel Photos

I can’t do this round-up without including at least one or two cinemagraphs, and this one from Flixel Photos is one of the coolest I’ve seen.

Oreo

Who doesn’t love quirky time-lapse pen drawings complete with slightly unrealistic sound effects.

Not me, that’s for sure.

Jamie Oliver

Anything involving crackling scores highly in my book, and this video is packed full of the stuff.
