Vidmeter Tracker is a new tool, launched yesterday, which tracks the most popular videos across a variety of video-sharing and social network sites.
As well as putting together a list of the Top 100 video clips from YouTube, MySpace, Google Video and more, Vidmeter's Tracker enables video creators to track the popularity of their own clips.
The Tracker allows you to input the URLs where your video has been posted, then provides you with stats for the number of times the video has been viewed across a range of web-based video sites.
It also compiles the comments that have been left in response to the videos. Stats are updated several times a day and sent via emails and an RSS feed.
With rapid growth predicted for the online video advertising market, Vidmeter's Tracker could prove to be a useful tool for marketers to track the popularity of their video content.
