Social enterprise software firm Buddy Media has been selected as a launch partner for Google+ Pages.
Following the launch of Google+ Pages last week, which allows businesses and brands to create an official presence on the social platform, Google has chosen a small number of third party developers to participate in a trial.
In Buddy Media’s case, this will mean that Google+ functionality is integrated into its social marketing product, ConversationBuddy.
ConversationBuddy allows brands to publish content, moderate conversation online, segment customers into groups, and look at analytics across multiple social networks.
Buddy Media says that this integration will provide brands and agencies with enterprise-level functionality to manage their presence on Google+, no matter what size.
Luca Benini, Buddy Media’s managing director for Europe, explained that since Google is the largest player in the online advertising market and has made social its number one priority, Google+ has massive potential.
A brand or business needs to be where its customers are and Google+ has experienced tremendous growth since opening its doors to the general public. Now that Google+ has opened to brands we only see that increasing.
