Around one in four Christians are unsure whether they should buy products online, or say they shouldn’t, according to a poll by
Seventy five per cent of people surveyed by the portal were pro-internet shopping, but others declared the activity to be non-Christian.
Some expressed concerns about safety and security, while one added: “The internet has been invaded by enterprising individuals who put advertisements online for products that do not exist.”
Out of 166 people who took part in the poll, 125 answered yes to the question “should Christians buy products online?”
Some said partaking in e-commerce can save time and petrol, as well as supporting Christian companies on the web. Thirty-three participants in this survey were unsure about online shopping, while 8 said no.
