Rebecca is the Head of Marketing Planning at BBC Worldwide, and is a seasoned innovative marketer with a sincere belief in the power of 'integrated' marketing. She has been at the forefront of channel innovation, entering the digital arena in 1999 and mobile in 2008. 

In her role at the BBC, she is responsible for leading their E-CRM Strategy; advising on marketing budgets and developing marketing plans for the BBC’s key brands. She also manages a marketing team; providing training and inspiration to a global team.

Previously, Rebecca was Client Services Director at Virgin Insight, where she managed a range of strategic projects, including the creative transformation of all data insight into ROI driving marketing initiatives across the Virgin Group.

She has also held roles at Nokia UK, where she was Head of Marketing, as well as Enpocket Mobile Marketing, and Saatchi & Saatchi.

Warren Buckley

Warren has more than 20 years experience in customer service and, more recently, e-service. This includes positions at the major telcos Vodafone, Orange and now BT. At BT Warren is responsible for all customer services activities for 15 million BT Retail Consumer Customers including 10,000 staff, 45 centres in UK and India. If you've ever had a customer service letter from BT then it probably has Warren's name and signature at the bottom of it...

Annabel is an exceptionally experienced consumer and commercial marketer with a broad range of experience in the FMCG and Financial Services sector (B2C and B2B) having worked for diverse organisations such as GlaxoSmithKline, Coca Cola, and now Hiscox. 

She has in depth experience across the full media mix ATL and BTL, from the development of a pan European TV campaign through the management of online marketing to direct mail and sports sponsorships. Annabel has also been very successful with new product development and marketing innovation. In her current role, Hiscox won Econsultancy's Innovation Award for B2B Marketing.

Matthew Turner is currently the head of online sales and marketing for BSkyB and has been working in digital for nearly 15 years. His experience spans a variety of operational and marketing management roles across both start-ups and blue chips. From launching the first contextual search engine on Yahoo! Finance to driving the proportion of credit card acquisitions online to above 80% at American Express UK, he has a history of harnessing emerging consumer trends and market innovations to produce business results.

Matthew has been passionate about digital since the day he downloaded his first South Park episode online in the mid-90s. When he's not spending time with his wife and young son, he can usually be found trawling Mashable and TechCrunch, messing about with the latest app du jour, sharing stuff on Facebook, or playing MMOs.

Stewart joined first direct in June 2006 as Head of Business Change, managing all aspects of change from procedural change through systems reengineering to the delivery of new customer propositions and services.

Stewart was subsequently asked to take on the role of People Experience at the end of 2007, encapsulating HR, Learning & Development, Social Leadership and Customer Experience Strategy. These diverse elements are consolidated within first direct as the values-based ethos links the emotional connectedness of our people experience to our customer experience and communities alike.

Whilst in this position, first direct achieved the highest levels of employee engagement across HSBC globally, and the highest levels of customer satisfaction, loyalty and recommendation across the industry in the UK. Stewart took responsibility for driving the leading first direct culture across the HSBC Direct teams in the UK.

Before joining first direct, Stewart gained over 20 years’ international blue-chip corporate experience in leading major change programmes and managing business change functions, spanning automotive, telecoms and financial service sectors. He has consulted on change and HR matters and is a professionally qualified coach, running his own independent coaching practice alongside his first direct role.

More recently, Stewart has taken on a new role as Head of Digital Solutions, where he is responsible for all aspects of performance for the Online and Mobile customer channels for first direct and HSBC across Europe. This encompasses the customer experience, sales, service, support and associated content management and change delivery.

Neil Bridgeman joined NET-A-PORTER in 2006 as Marketing Executive and moved up to the position of Marketing Manager in 2008. Neil was appointed Head of Marketing in 2010, reporting into the VP of Sales and Marketing. Since joining NET-A-PORTER, Neil's responsibilities include the management of all new customer acquisition marketing channels, incorporating NET-A-PORTER's global creative advertising campaigns, social media, search marketing, affiliate marketing, strategic partnerships, co-op marketing, onsite promotions as well as well as driving the sales growth of the business in new and existing markets.

Prior to NET-A-PORTER Neil worked for Interflora Australia, responsible for online sales, marketing and branding.

Rob Grimshaw was appointed Managing Director of FT.com in June 2008. As the FT board representative for FT.com he is responsible for website’s commercial performance and overall strategy. Prior to this, Grimshaw was a member of the FT.com Executive leadership team and was Advertising Strategy and Global Online Director. 

Grimshaw joined the Financial Times in 1998 and has held a series of commercial roles within the business, including Head of Global Key Accounts & Clients Sales and Head of Global Advertising Strategy & Operations. 

Grimshaw holds a Bachelors degree in Philosophy and Politics from the University of Warwick.

John Watton

John leads the global marketing team for Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN), an independent subsidiary of Expedia, Inc., which provides private label solutions to the travel industry.

John has 20 years’ sales and marketing leadership experience in the technology space, spanning internet, e-commerce, enterprise software and SaaS. Before joining EAN, John was at ShipServ, the leading B2B e-marketplace to the $60bn marine & offshore supplies industry. As Chief Marketing Officer, John was instrumental in strategic changes that led to a complete re-branding of the business, the development of new product income streams and the introduction of demand generation processes that together more than tripled revenue in less than three years.

Previously, John held marketing management positions at Cramer/Amdocs, Microsoft, Ariba, SAP and Oracle.

John has received many awards in recognition of his marketing leadership and in 2009 was named Marketer of the Year by B2B Marketing Magazine. He has a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Manchester.

Gabe Zichermann is the chair of the Gamification Summit, an author, highly rated public speaker and entrepreneur.  His upcoming book, “Gamification by Design” (O’Reilly, 2011) looks at the technical and architectural considerations for designers in this burgeoning field.  His book “Game-Based Marketing” (Wiley, 2010) achieved critical and industry acclaim for its detailed look at innovators who blend the power of games with brand strategy. A resident of NYC, Gabe is a board member of StartOut.org , advisor to a number of startups and Facilitator for the Founder Institute in Manhattan. Jonathan is responsible for the commercial side of Shop Direct Group's websites including Very, Littlewoods and isme.com. He manages the teams who drive the traffic to these sites and then optimise conversion rate on-site.

Previously Jonathan was CEO at Flowersdirect who are one of the leading Floral Relay networks in the UK with 900 florist members who can deliver orders same day to 90% of the UK population.

Before that Jonathan was Marketing Director at Dabs.com, responsible for consumer business channels, marketing and product merchandising and oversaw the successful migration of the BT Shop to the Dabs.com platform.

Alex has over five years brand & digital marketing experience at luxury car manufacturer Porsche working across a number of key functions. As Head of Digital Alex has overall responsibility for the strategic development and implementation of the first, fully integrated digital strategy at Porsche GB. Previously he was responsible for the Porsche Design Driver’s Selection merchandise range where he developed a range of new retail strategies increasing profitability.

Allison Wightman has been Head of eBusiness at Virgin Atlantic for 5 years with responsibility for the Global Web Channel, Mobile, Social and Database Marketing.  She is responsible for leading the growth strategy for digital channels, customer relationship and database management with focus on integrating direct and revenue generation at the airline.

She is committed to using data and analytics as the basis for decision making, is fascinated by social media and the potential it has to make good organizations better and put bad organizations out of business and is currently acting as Project Executive and main business sponsor for Web Futures the rebuild and redesign of the next generation Virgin Atlantic website being delivered by LBi.

Katie Sheppard is Head of Relationships & Marketing at match UK & Ireland, where she is responsible for delivering the overall brand ambition to make online the most popular way to meet a partner in Britain. In this role Katie leads in delivering strategy and fully integrated multi-million pound marketing campaigns for match’s UK brands, including match.com, matchaffinity.com and DatingDirect.com. 

Katie started her career making tea at marketing consultancy Joslin Shaw and quickly worked her way up to Account Manager.  She later worked as a freelance consultant before co-founding consumer boutique Cherish PR Ltd where her clients included Natmags, News International, iVillage, Hachette Filipacchi and IPC Media.

Simon Joseph

Simon is Associate Director of E-commerce at leading UK photographic specialist Jessops.

Since joining the company, Simon has led the E-commerce business to significant success, delivering dramatic results with his second year of over 100% online growth. As a result, online sales have rocketed from 8% of retail sales to 28% as the website repositioned to become a window to all of the stores. This progress has been achieved through a number of multi-channel innovations and the focus upon a single customer view, ensuring that all channels deliver a common engagement.

Previously in his 14-year career in online retailing, Simon has held board positions in pure play and multichannel sectors, including both start-ups and blue chips including DSGi and Argos. He also played a key role in the successful management buy-out of a national retail chain of IT stores.

Eric has been Web Analytics Manager at John Lewis Financial Services since 2010. Before that he held a number of roles at retailer Lands' End UK including responsibility not just for analytics but other digital disciplines such as paid and natural search, user experience, merchandising. Prior to working in digital and e-commerce, Eric worked in financial services and began his career in the Royal Navy.

Argos.co.uk delivers in excess of £1.5bn annual sales (37% of company), and the Argos app has been downloaded over 1.7M times. Kate's role spans responsibility for Argos’ multi-channel customer proposition, customer acquisition, retention, onsite-trading & content. In addition, she is leading a business-wide, end-to-end initiative to put ‘customer’ at the heart of the Argos multi-channel proposition.

Kate is also an Advisory Member of the ‘Retail Sector Board’ for the Cabinet Office to shape the development of the ‘Mydata’ Government initiative (part of ‘Big Society). 

Previous roles have included: Group Head of CRM at DSG International; Head of User Experience at TUI Travel; Director of Consumer Experience & Marketing at GCap Media Plc; Account Director at WWAV Rapp Collins; various roles in the music business.

Craig is a User Experience champion with a wealth of experience gained working with high street retailers and leading brands. 

Craig has been Group eBusiness Customer Experience Manager at Belron® (Autoglass etc.) since April 2009, where he continues to make consumer facing improvements and fosters an appreciation of the importance of the user experience to the success of the business. 

Previously Craig was with LOVEFiLM for 4 years as Product Manager - Digital and Usability, prior to which he spent 6 years as Usability and E-Commerce consultant for John Lewis. 

His skills base includes UX, Usability testing, User Centred Design, online marketing, customer insight, web analytics and multi-variate testing.

Craig has spoken at various Econsultancy events and conferences in the past and is consistently rated as a top speaker by delegates because of his knowledge, engaging presentation style and willingness to share really useful practical tips.

Matthew Curry

Matthew works to create engaging, intuitive & highly usable ecommerce experiences for niche markets, often those considered by traditional online retailers as too difficult to cater for. He uses best practise analytical, statistical & usability tools to optimize ecommerce conversion rate, average order value, and customer retention. With a strong back ground in technical architecture, he regularly challenges the status quo of “what can be done”. He also has difficulty writing in the 3rd person.

Matthew has many years’ experience in digital marketing, including email, display, SEO/PPC and Social Media, though social media makes him feel dirty. Using his statistical knowledge, he executes pin-point campaigns with a focus on conversion and return on investment. He's also won several awards for his work. Once he fell off his chair as his award was announced. He's not sure if he regained his composure.

As a Technical Web Analyst, his specialties include campaign project management, execution and reporting, as well as using analytics to improve conversion rate, inform site design, and construct relevant digital marketing.

Craig has spoken at various Econsultancy events in the past and is always very well received thanks to his expertise, honesty, and engaging speaking style. At Nokia Craig is responsible for aligning all paid and social media activities across the Nokia digital strategy. Craig leads a team of highly skilled experts who are driving the centre of digital media excellence and ensuring a high standard of strategic execution along with the creation of a company-wide social media taskforce representing sales and marketing. Craig has overall responsibility for digital innovation and management of core media agencies.

Prior to Nokia Craig spent two years at Open Text / RedDot as Director of Social Media Strategy and before that Craig spent almost three years at STA Travel ending up as Head of E-commerce.

Richard is the E-commerce Director for Majestic Wine, responsible for all their website and online marketing activities. He has been with the company since 1998, working in several of the stores in London before moving to head office to launch the Majestic website in 2000. As such Richard has both offline and online experience across the business. Whilst online sales have been fast growing under Richard, Majestic Wine is perhaps best known for the in-store experience and particularly the expertise of their staff. Over the last few years Richard has been working on multichannel initiatives to bring their website and stores closer together.

Simon Harrow is the Technology Officer at Kiddicare.com. He is responsible for driving business growth and efficiency through the implementation of technology innovations, development of the ecommerce platform and marketing activity.

Simon has five years’ experience in ecommerce development which is supported by two years advertising experience for national B2B and FMCG brands. Before joining Kiddicare, he developed digital strategies for MoneySupermarket.com, ASDA, Eurocamp, Crown Paints and William Hill.

Simon holds a first class honours in International Business and Marketing, has been recognised with an award from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and guest lectures on undergraduate and postgraduate University courses.

Before that he was Managing Partner of The Leading Edge having spent over two years as Research Manager at the Financial Times. Simon began his career in market research with seven years at Ipsos, leaving as Director.

Matthew Kelleher joined RedEye in 2006 as Commercial Director with the dual responsibilities of group wide business development as well as RedEye’s Email Marketing.  A Masters graduate in Economics from the LSE, Matthew worked for Acxiom for 16 years, starting at NDL, Claritas and most latterly Acxiom. He undertook a variety of divisional director roles, most notably launching Claritas Interactive in 1999 and overseeing its European development. A founder member of the DMA Email Council, Matthew is responsible at RedEye for the service and delivery of email solutions for all cli nts as well as for the growth of the business.

Don Morrison, Vice President Sales, is responsible for continuing ForeSee’s growth. His focus is to leverage ForeSee’s existing multi-national client base, best-in-class methodologies, and research staff into a worldwide presence. He is also responsible for managing ForeSee’s continued development of strategic partnerships and channels of distribution.

Don has almost 30 years experience in sales management, consulting, and strategic planning including several international assignments. Prior to joining ForeSee, he was an executive for GMAC Commercial Finance and Compuware Corporation. Don has also held senior management positions with MascoTech, Inc., Coopers & Lybrand, and Deloitte & Touche.

Don received his MBA degree for Bowling Green State University and BBA degree from Eastern Michigan University.

David Mulhall-Brown

David Mulhall-Brown has over 10 years' experience managing teams of technical and business consultants focused on online marketing, behavioural targeting and web analytics.

Most recently, David has spent the majority of his time helping clients understand and improve the ROI from their digital initiatives. Areas of expertise include Web Analytics, Behavioural Targeting and Social Media Strategy.

After studying Biology at Memphis State University, David moved into the corporate travel industry working for companies such as American Express and Thomas Cook. It was in the travel industry that David learned the importance of measuring performance and how actionable KPIs can help businesses improve.

Dominic Powers is the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of International Operations for Epsilon International - the international operating unit of Epsilon.

Based in Hong Kong, Dominic is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the business throughout the APAC and EMEA regions, including Australia, China, India, Japan, Singapore, UK, France and Germany. He joined DoubleClick in November 2002 as Regional Director of Sales, responsible for new business generation across the region, and became part of the Epsilon Senior Leadership team through the 2005 acquisition of DoubleClick Email Solutions.

From 1999 to 2002 he was a member of the senior management team of Chinadotcom’s Mezzo Marketing – formerly 24/7 Media Asia. His responsibilities included the strategic development and implementation of the email marketing and data business throughout the region, as well as the research of privacy legislation and its impact on marketing methodologies and technologies in Asia Pacific.

Prior to Chinadotcom Corporation, Dominic was with The Economist Group in Hong Kong. In the early 90s he worked in publishing and event management, developing industrial road shows for the governments of emerging markets.

A graduate of Modern Chinese from the University of Leeds in the UK, and Tianjin Normal University in the People’s Republic of China, he has lived, studied, and worked in various locations across Asia Pacific since 1995. He is currently a Board Member of the Hong Kong Direct Marketing Association (HKDMA), The China Direct Marketing Association, and the Asia Digital Marketing Association (ADMA) and a regular presenter and commentator on data-driven marketing and privacy issues throughout the region.

Hannah Graham joined Sky IQ, BSkyB’s Customer Intelligence division, as Head of Marketing in May this year and is responsible for driving Sky IQ’s marketing strategy and client engagement programmes.

With a strong background in direct and multi-channel marketing, Hannah has experience of working with large brands across sectors including retail, finance, utilities, telcos, leisure and automotive. Prior to Sky IQ, Hannah held senior marketing roles at DBG (formerly The Database Group) and Experian QAS.

Mike Quinn

Mike has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry at companies including Shuttle, Quantum, Emulex and Adobe. He is an excellent speaker with good technological background and an understanding of networking and management, security, cloud based systems and processes. Mike has extensive experience in product management  and all things marketing specifically Digital, Search and Social Marketing.

Sal Visca

As the Chief Technology officer at Elastic Path Software, Sal Visca is responsible for developing the company’s long-term technology strategies, defining a process to bring new enterprise ecommerce solutions to market, and spearheading the development of the Elastic Path App Store Platform.

Sal has over 22 years of experience developing long-term technology strategies, understanding emerging markets and technologies, and bringing new consumer and business solutions to market. Previously the chief technology officer for Business Objects, Sal led the technical due diligence efforts resulting in the company's acquisition by SAP for $6.8B USD. At the time, this was the third largest acquisition in history. He moved on to become chief technology officer for SAP's Technology Development Group. Prior to this, Sal worked for IBM as a software development executive for ebusiness solutions and was instrumental in IBM's early entrance into the ecommerce market.

Anjli Vyas is the eCRM Executive at bmi and joined the company in 2010. Anjli is responsible for bmi’s email marketing across all acquisition and loyalty retention programmes and has been instrumental in launching the social interact tool for bmi.

Nick Fuller is Director of Strategy & Analytics at e-Dialog International.  He leads a team of Analysts and Planners in developing digital strategies and driving progammes for clients across email and mobile.  In a DM career that has spanned more than 25 years, Nick has experience both offline (direct mail and call centres) and digital (particularly email and mobile) on the client and agency sides across brands including Peugeot, Thomas Cook, Barclaycard, Capital Radio and Dell.   Nick is a fellow of the IDM (F IDM), a former member of the DMA Board and former Chair of the DMA Mobile Marketing Council.

Kees joined hybris in August 2010 as director of business consulting. He is responsible for driving clients’ multichannel success and helping to communicate the hybris vision to the market. Kees has 10 years of experience advising on and implementing multichannel retail systems worldwide. He has worked for more than 50 retailers, brands, and manufacturers including global brands such as Argos, Tesco, Boots, Woolworths Australia, and Wal-Mart. Before joining hybris, Kees was a director at Javelin Group, a leading multichannel retail consultancy. Previously, he was e-commerce principal at Salmon, one of the U.K.’s leading multichannel system integrators.

Andrew Hood is founder and managing director of Lynchpin, a web analytics consultancy with clients including Experian, Turner Broadcasting , HSBC, Reed Business Information and Lloyds Banking.

Andrew's marketing career began in 1999 at All-Hotels.com, where he developed the systems that led to All-Hotels becoming one of the biggest e-commerce sites in Scotland, selling for £1.425m in 2002 to Online Travel Corporation, now owned by Lastminute.com.

He then joined search company Ambergreen, where he developed one of the first online return on investment tracking systems, for the emerging online marketing sector. In 2005 he launched Lynchpin as an independent web analytics agency.

Allan is a seasoned software developer & architect specialising in .NET, ASP.Net search and web content management. He joined EPiServer in 2007 as a technical architect and later as a senior solution architect before becoming a Product Manager in 2010. As Vice President of Enterprise Marketing, Customer Experience, at Adobe, Kevin Cochrane leads the company’s worldwide enterprise product marketing efforts to enable companies and government organisations to provide engaging business experiences via next-generation customer experience management (CEM) enterprise solutions. Cochrane and his team are responsible for defining Adobe’s enterprise go-to-market strategy, product launch process and organisational readiness, messaging, positioning, packaging, pricing and competitive analysis.

Andy Harding is the Director of Ecommerce for the House of Fraser and is responsible for the UK and international, online and mobile strategy.  He has over 12 years experience in online and multi-channel retail.

He began his career at Bhs but his fascination with ecommerce started when he joined the IT team at the Carphone Warehouse where he was responsible for the redevelopment of the first Carphone website.  A move to the commercial team as Head of eCommerce meant his passion for usability and online marketing could be utilised to exponentially grow their online sales.  Later part of the team that delivered the market changing ‘Free Broadband’ initiative for TalkTalk and recently as Multi Channel Director at Ryman, he has a broad experience in managing successful online businesses.

The nearest tube station to Old Billingsgate is Monument station on the District & Circle lines; though Monument and Bank stations are interconnected, therefore giving access additionally to the Northern line and the DLR. On exit from Monument station, turn right, and immediately left, walking passed the Monument, along Monument Street. When you arrive on the main road, Lower Thames Street, you will see Old Billingsgate opposite. There is a pedestrian crossing a couple of minutes along on the left.

If you are travelling by rail, London Bridge is around a 15 minute walk away. On arrival at London Bridge, exit onto Borough High Street, and turn right, heading towards the bridge. Walk over the bridge, and take a right at the other side onto Lower Thames Street. You will see Old Billingsgate a few minutes down on the right. Old Billingsgate is also approximately 10-15 minutes away by cab from Waterloo and Blackfriars stations.
