As user research can help prioritise product requirements, and real-time interactions can be tracked for marketing insights, UX (or user experience) is increasingly important outside the coding circles of your office/business.

Whether you are new to product development and wireframing, or a reigning pro, this list of presentations and people to follow on Slideshare should be a great resource.

Chris Lake, Director of Product Development, Econsultancy

Chris often at shares interesting Slideshare finds via his Twitter account (@lakey).

Here’s a couple of recent examples. First,  ”How to bridge the distance between business strategy and design” by The Brand Gap:

Trends in interactive design 2013, from Prophets Agency:

Nate Bolt, Researcher/Designer

Nate (@boltron) wrote a book on remote user experience testing, and blogs over at Fast Company. Here is one of Nate’s Slideshares on remote UX which includes a presentation transcipt!

Craig Sullivan, Group eBusiness Customer Experience Manager at Belron

Craig is also an active Twitter user (@OptimiseOrDie) and part of our expert network. His presentation “Lean Optimisation” from SES London is a must see.

Simon Cast, Co-founder, Mind the Product

Simon (@simoncast) is a heavywieght in the burgeoning London tech scene who co-founded the Mind the Product conference along with Janna Bastow and Martin Eriksson.

I’d recommend spending some time on their Slideshare profile as there are several great presentations on UX for skill levels and interests of all types.

I’ve picked a great one from a Product Tank session last year on “What UX people want from product managers” below.
