Lord Sugar, everyone’s favourite no-nonsense boss and Twitter heavyweight will open the Headline Stage at this year’s Festival of Marketing.
Taking place on 11-12 November in London, the award-winning event is the place where marketers, brands and agencies meet to celebrate, discover and shape the future of marketing.

The original East End entrepreneur, Lord Sugar will draw on his background in building businesses from scratch to share valuable lessons on the role of marketing in brand development.
Having left school in Hackney aged 16, Alan Sugar started selling electric goods out of a van he bought for £50. In 1968, he founded Amstrad and now, more than 45 years later, he has an estimated worth of more £1bn and was ranked 101st in the 2015 Sunday Times Rich List.
Having previously sat on the Business Council for Britain and fronted a campaign promoting the benefits of apprenticeships, he was named as the government’s Enterprise Champion in 2009 and appointed to the House of Lords as Baron Sugar of Clapton in the London Borough of Hackney.
Lord Sugar has also appeared in all 10 series’ of BBC’s The Apprentice, where aspiring young businessmen and women compete for the chance to work with him.
The eleventh series will be aired this autumn.
