Adri Cowan is a digital marketing executive who values compassionate leadership, innovative strategies, and taking creative risks. As the Executive Director, Social Media at Marvel Entertainment, and in her near decade at the company, Adri has led an award winning bi-coastal team of operational and creative minds managing the day-to-day and overarching digital support of the
legacy brand and its IP over all lines of business. Adri has almost 20 years of experience building traditional and digital marketing programs for brands large and small; she launched Google+ and Zagat Local through on-and-offline activations in New England, managed marketing, PR, and events for a bevy of book titles including New York Times Best Sellers, and continues to collaborate on the promotion of some of the most successful entertainment franchises in history. She has also been a host on the Women of Marvel podcast, a recurring panelist and moderator at industry events, and featured on TechRepublic, Fortune.com, and espnW. She is currently an MBA candidate at Babson College in Massachusetts, and holds a BA in communications from Emerson College in Boston.
