Congratulations to UK property search engine Nestoria following the news that it has been selected by Google for a case study on the use of the Google Maps API.


Nestoria’s case study has been used by Google as an example of a successful Google Maps mashup, and so far they are the only example to be used by the search engine.

Google cites Nestoria’s innovation in using Google Maps not only for locating property listings, but for adding features which add extra value, such as the locations of local schools, and other relevant local information.

According to Nestoria co-founder Ed Freygogle:

‘We’re delighted that Google has chosen Nestoria as the Google Maps API case study. It’s a great validation of all the work the team has put in over the last year. It’s particularly rewarding because there are obviously so many other great sites out there doing innovative things with maps.”

Launched last year, Nestoria currently has around 150,000 users a month. It recently launched a Spanish version of the site.
