Groupon and Foursquare have launched their first joint deals since the companies formed a tie-up last month.

Foursquare users can now access Groupon’s discount coupons from within the former’s location-based mobile app in return for checking in to certain venues.

The location-based mobile check-in service revealed it would start distributing coupons for other group buying companies including Groupon and LivingSocial last month as part of plans to increase its revenue streams ( 12 July 2011). The start-up company will take commission for every coupon that’s redeemed.
