Manchester City FC has launched a new club site, partnering with Endemol Sport, to increase editorial content across its online properties.

The football club has formed a new in-house media production team and aims to make the site the most immersive and interactive in the sports and entertainment market.

The main change to mcfc.co.uk, designed by creative agency Poke and built by Aqueduct, was to unify the previously separate platforms of retail, ticketing and information.

The club has also abolished display advertising from the site to leave the design cleaner. Instead it will offer sponsorship and integration opportunities to commercial partners.

New content will include a live match-day experience, with audio streaming and text updates from all Manchester City games.

David Pullan, chief marketing officer of Manchester City FC, said, “Our new web platform will be a one-stop shop and the first place to go for anyone with an interest in Manchester City. It’s the kind of site that our supporters, who are at the heart of our club, deserve.”

Prior to joining MCFC, Pullan was president of Isobar global client managment.
