Business development director Monty Munford has left Player X after four years at the mobile media company.

He was part of the team which saw the acquisition of Player X by European mobile content giant Zed in May and subsequent relocation to India.

He also helped sign a string of mobile content and games licensing deals with publishers including SCEE, Fremantle and Paramount.

In a statement sent via his regular Monty’s Gaming and Wireless Outlook, Munford thanked his Player X colleagues for their hard work and said, “From start-up to a multi-million-sterling sale wasn’t bad at all.”
