Popbitch has launched a radio station and e-zine as the pop culture and gossip site extends its online brand.

Radiopopbitch.com includes more than 20,000 tracks, which listeners can vote for to create a user-generated playlist.

Additional programming includes a wine-tasting radio show, Planet of the Grapes, and interviews with celebrities figures such as Mika and author John O Farrell.

Popbitch will also launch its first e-zine, developed by digital publishing house Grand Parade, in time to celebrate next month's Eurovision Song Contest. Launching on 17 May, it's intended to be an alternative guide to the cult music event, including videos, audio clips and images of past entries, a low-down of this year's songs and a guide to host city Belgrade.

Camilla Wright, Popbitch founder, said the e-zine was a natural extension to the Popbitch brand.

"We're testing the waters with the Eurovision special, but we've covered the event pretty well in the past, so it makes sense to try it out with this year's contest," she said.

Popbitch and Grande Parade are negotiating ad deals for shows on Radiopopbitch, as well as eight full-page placements within the e-zine.
