The Emetrics Summit 2004 will be held on 24 - 26 May at the Four Seasons Hotel in London, hosted by Jim Sterne, MD of Target Marketing http://www.targeting.com and author of Web Metrics: 'Measuring Web Site Success'.

Web analytics (also referred to as web metrics and emetrics) experts, industry analysts, media and practitioners will gather together to examine the measurement of web traffic, online conversion, usability and customer satisfaction. The overall theme of this year's event is: "Profiting from web analytics".

Stephen Mitchell, New Media Executive at RICS, will be presenting on the 26th May 2004, on the topic of "From the Front Lines, Web Analytics at RICS. Stephen will explain how and why web analytics is used at RICS via their web analytics agency WebtraffIQ http://www.webtraffiq.com.

Stephen Mitchell comments, "With 134 years of experience, and 110, 000 members, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors is the global hub of the real estate and construction industries. We look forward to sharing what an important role WebtraffIQ's web metrics service plays in the daily operations of the RICS website on an international scale."

Jim Sterne comments: "Client feedback is crucial for attendees to learn more about the web metrics industry. We will explore best practices and real-world results, inviting executives to tell us what they want to talk about."

"The Emetrics Summit is a high calibre event that traditional and digital media need to attend to ensure that they learn how to track their performance and measure return on investment (ROI). Advertising, marketing, PR and sales departments would all benefit from understanding this medium, learning how to integrate and use it more effectively, making their outsourced agencies more accountable and work harder for them," Marcos Richardson, European Director at WebtraffIQ added.

About Emetrics 2004
http://www.emetrics.org

The Emetrics Summit is a private forum where you will be identifying, discussing and determining the answers to your most critical questions. The Emetrics Summit is designed to continue the industry dialogue. Senior web executives, focused academics, software and service vendors, and members of the press will work together to identify and address web analytics issues.

The Emetrics Summit is a working session. Several presentations will help
set the stage, but the participants will set the agenda. It is a gathering of thought leaders designed for interaction and discovery, not for lecturing and note taking.
