Mike Butcher, journalist and broadcaster, has been appointed by e-consultancy to edit their new weekly newsletter. He is a former Editor of New Media Age and Executive Editor of the Industry Standard Europe.
Following user feedback and research, e-consultancy discovered there was a strong desire from UK e-business professionals for high quality, succinct, informed opinion and analysis of the week’s top news stories impacting the UK’s digital economy.
e-consultancy’s current text-only e-mail newsletter goes out monthly to just under 8,000 subscribers and is free. The new weekly version will remain free.
Mike Butcher’s appointment confirms e-consultancy’s ambition to become the UK’s number one source of the best e-business information and advice. E-consultancy is stepping up its investment in premium content to attract registrations on the site and to maintain the loyalty of existing senior-level site users and clients.
e-consultancy has over 25,000 pages of its own content and over 8,000 registered users, 30% of whom are CEOs, Directors or Senior Management. Mike’s appointment is the first of a number of premium content supply deals that e-consultancy has signed and is set to announce in the coming weeks.
