Ladbrokespoker.com is launching a six figure online marketing campaign to support its TV sponsorship of Sky Sports’ Poker Million – The Masters II tournament, to be aired every Friday night starting March 26th.
The campaign, planned and bought by Unique Digital, Ladbrokes’ lead online agency, aims to ‘own’ the online poker space for the duration of the tournament, increase brand awareness of Ladbrokespoker.com, and ultimately drive new players to www.ladbrokespoker.com.
Ladbrokespoker.com is also the main recruitment channel for new tournament players. 36 of this years Poker Million competitors earnt their $10,000 seats by winning tournaments at Ladbrokes. Before filming, the ‘onliners’, who make up half of this years field, were just 6/5 with the sponsors to scoop the first prize of $300,000.
The campaign will run from March 19th through to the final show in July and compromises site genres such as sports, TV listings, male targeting, portals and games.
