vcmedia Sources Online Advertising for Celebrity Big Brother 2006

ValueClick Europe’s vcmedia subsidiary has been tasked by Channel 4’s Celebrity Big Brother to exclusively represent all online advertising sales on this website, during January 2006.

The fourth series of Celebrity Big Brother will be on air on Channel 4 and E4 in January next year. The names of the celebrities taking part are expected to be announced in December.

A website will be created within Channel4.com, and show organisers are expecting website page impressions to be anything from 30 to 50 million during January. The target audience for the micro-site is predominantly aged 18-24 with a slightly female bias.

vcmedia will be talking to a wide range of potential advertisers on Channel 4’s behalf, both direct and through advertising agencies, from now until the end of January. Banners, buttons and skyscrapers will be available across the site as well as a range of sponsorship opportunities.

Online advertising sales for Celebrity Big Brother were handled in-house by Channel 4 for the 2005 series.
