Podunlimited! a podcast looking at the issues facing small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), launches today at www.bizunlimited.com. Peter Coë, former BBC News 24 presenter, hosts the show which includes interviews, news and views from across the business world.

In this, the first edition of the fortnightly programme, we hear from Judith Hunt, founder and MD of bizunlimited! Peter and Judith will take a brief look at the world of online trade exchanges, where we are in the UK compared to the rest of the world and what benefits they can offer businesses. Over coming weeks podunlimited! will welcome independent experts from all areas of business, including self-professed ‘economic anarchist’ Ray Sheath, legal expert Lynn Brooks and technology guru Mike Harburg. The podcast will highlight the top news stories from the small business world, will encourage listeners to share their views on the issues discussed and topics for future shows, and will also offer some great prizes.

Judith Hunt, managing director of bizunlimited!, said: “More and more people are deciding to take the plunge and set up their own business. Good advice, information and a touch of inspiration are vital for start-ups and established businesses alike and that’s what we hope podunlimited! will provide. It will also be a listener-driven podcast and we’ll be very much encouraging businesses to join the conversation about the topics and issues we cover. Technology designed to make the lives of small businesses easier is at the heart of what bizunlimited is about and the launch of this podcast supports this ethos and provides another dimension to our service.”

bizunlimited! is the new Internet-based bartering service that operates its own currency aimed at giving small business owners a better chance of survival. 90% of small and medium size enterprises (SME’s) don’t survive beyond year two, mainly due to cash-flow problems. bizunlimited! aims to change this by offering the two million such companies in the UK a new way of doing business.
