Tank!, the UK’s leading client-only marketing group, launches on February 22nd their 2006 programme for marketers seeking to get the most out of the digital channel. The Session is open to client marketers who want to address the critical issues facing their organisation’s on-line marketing. It is the first event in its 2006 programme that aligns business improvement to personal development by focusing on critical issues identified by the group.

Tank! On-Line Marketing Action Group Session
Wednesday February 22nd 2006
Selsdon Park Hotel Croydon

“The Tank! On-Line Marketing Action Group has built a programme for 2006 of benchmarking , knowledge sharing and discussion that goes way beyond tactical, supplier-driven, seminar-delivered personal development” says David Hughes, Director of Tank! OMAG. “All marketers need to monitor the fast-changing digital landscape but may not identify the critical issues or be able to tap into impartial benchmarking and best practice.”

Last year the Tank! On-Line Marketing Action Group founder members identified what they thought were the critical issues facing marketers getting to grips with the digital channel. The 2006 programme maps out the critical issues through a programme of discussions, workshops and presentations. February’s session delivers guidance and client case studies on emerging digital techniques in the acquisition and retention areas, with speakers including Danny Meadows-Klue of the IAB (Europe) and presentations on Confused.com, Lastminute.com and Amex Cards.

“The Tank! approach is to deliver business improvement through personal development focused on critical issues”, says Sean Larrangton-White, Founder of Tank! “For example, if your bosses and peers don’t understand how digital marketing can transform their business then you’ll fail, no matter how well you use the digital marketing tools. Our members told us that they need to be able to put across persuasive business arguments to capture the hearts and minds of their colleagues, or they’ll be ill-equipped to drive digital marketing forward. As a result, we’ve lined up one of the leading business coaches, Andy Bounds, to show our members how to write and present effective business arguments. Tank! looks at marketers’ issues and delivers innovative solutions as part of an on-going programme – a journey – rather than one-off tactical sessions”.

David Hughes continues “our 2006 programme will address critical issues our members identify. We have already lined up sessions covering legal issues, optimising the marginal cost of acquisition across channels, multi-channel planning and measurement, web analytics and advanced email marketing strategies. As our members identify other issues we will build programmes to deliver business improvement.”

The February 22nd session costs £245 and for more information and booking details contact Lynn at Tank! Group
