International telecommunications solutions provider FLAG Telecom has launched its new website with design and development of the site driven by leading digital agency, Design UK.

FLAG Telecom provides international network transport and data services to major telecom operators, content providers and Internet communities across the globe. FLAG decided to create a new website to better connect with customers and demonstrate more clearly the brand values of the company.

Following extensive review of FLAG’s original website capability and marketing strategy, plus workshops with key staff to establish what role web and e-communications should be playing in the marketing mix, Design UK has just completed a year long project to overhaul FLAG’s online presence. The new site includes key elements such as prospect capture, sign-ups, access to focused Extranets and thought leadership insights – providing more detailed and relevant information to target audiences.

FLAG Telecom chose Design UK’s online marketing suite Lava to power its website. The suite provides easy-to-use content management as well as email marketing, ecommerce and sophisticated analytics by WebTrends – all within a single suite. This approach allows quick response with the minimum of IT input and at a fraction of the cost of enterprise level systems.

The site’s design approach centres on FLAG Telecom’s global presence and thought leadership, with the primary aim of starting a dialogue with product managers and strategists in its target segments. The new site reflects FLAG Telecom as the international force in telecommunication it is.
