Appoints Jon Lawford to head business development at search engine marketing company, Inceptor;

opens new London-based sales & marketing office to promote pay per click(PPC) search marketing platform (

Inceptor, Inc.(, a leading provider of PPC search engine internet marketing technology, today named Jon Lawford director of new business development for the United Kingdom and continental Europe. Lawford’s appointment coincides with of the opening of Inceptor’s new sales and marketing office in London.

Lawford will be responsible for developing partnerships with major media planning and buying agencies in the United Kingdom and Europe to promote Inceptor’s BidCenter™ (, the leading platform for automating, managing and optimising pay per click search advertising.

Prior to joining Inceptor, Lawford served as Head of Business Development for Position Technologies where he developed relationships with major media planning and buying agencies such as Universal McCann, Carat International, Difiniti, Wheel, i-level, Unique-Digital, Green Cathedral, Netbooster, and Quantum. Previously, Lawford held similar positions with Decide Interactive and Web Optimiser, Ltd., two well-known search engine marketing UK companies. In total, Lawford has over five years direct experience in the search engine marketing industry.
