Currently serving more than 800 million online ads each month, Sensis aims to nearly double volume within twelve months of implementation

London, UK and Raleigh, NC - March 8, 2006- Accipiter Solutions, Inc., an online advertising technology innovator since 1996, today announced that it has expanded its global customer base to include MediaSmart, the online arm of Sensis, Australia’s leading information resource. In one of the largest ad-serving deals in Australia, Sensis will use Accipiter’s AdManager solution to serve ads across its site network including whitepages.com.au, yellowpages.com.au, whereis.com.au and tradingpost.com.au.

This past fall, Accipiter announced its partnership with Hostworks (ASX:HWG) as its Asia-Pacific ad management solution supplier. Hostworks is Australia’s leading critical application-managed service provider which provides 24x7 managed outsourcing services for many of Australia’s leading online properties. The recent success with Sensis continues the momentum created by the Accipiter-Hostworks partnership in the Asia-Pacific marketplace. In the past year, the partnership has signed agreements with major Australian companies including News Interactive and realestate.com.au.

Sensis MediaSmart Group Manager Anthony Saines said MediaSmart chose AdManager because of its proven success. “This market-leading ad-serving technology will help us to respond more efficiently to market demand through improved behavioral and geographic targeting,” he said.

AdManager customers find it easy to migrate from their existing ad server to AdManager and to integrate the technology with existing workflow and billing infrastructure. AdManager’s XML Integration Module made it possible for Sensis to smoothly migrate from a competitive solution to AdManager, allowing them to continue serving more than 800 million online ads each month. The company aims to nearly double that volume within 12 months of implementing the new solution. In addition, Accipiter-Hostworks is able to easily integrate AdManager with Sensis’ Solbright accounting solution.

Online advertising is a booming area of Internet activity in the Asia-Pacific market as broadband continues to reach into Australian homes and businesses. The Audit Bureau of Verification Services (ABVS) reports that growth in the Australian online advertising sector increased by 62.7% for the year to June 2005, with a total expenditure of $488 million. PriceWaterhouseCoopers, in its Australian Entertainment and Media Outlook: 2005-2009 report, published in June 2005, predicts that the online advertising sector will expand at a compound annual growth rate of 20% until 2009.

Accipiter CEO Brian Handly said the success of the ad-serving solution had given the Accipiter-Hostworks partnership a powerful new revenue stream directly tied to the growth in that sector. “We have achieved outstanding success in a highly competitive and rapidly growing market through the combination of Hostworks expertise coupled with the globally leading technology provided by Accipiter,” he said.
