Email Reaction introduces RSS marketing at Internet World

Leading email marketing company to enable companies to deliver personalised content feeds to website visitors using the same interface as they use for email marketing and microsite creation

London, Earls Court, 9-11 May 2006 – Email Reaction, an online communications specialist, is demonstrating the forthcoming RSS features of its email and web communications software at Internet World. The tool is entering beta testing with selected clients and will be available to preview at the show.

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a tool for feeding news updates from a website to an RSS reader. Users can aggregate headlines from different websites in a single place, without having to disclose their contact details to the websites they receive updates from. Microsoft’s forthcoming Vista operating system will include features to make it easier for users to subscribe to RSS feeds, and there are already many free desktop an online tools that make it easy to use RSS feeds to keep on top of the news.

Email Reaction provides hosted and installed online marketing software that is characterised by a powerful but user-friendly interface. Clients such as Help the Aged, Penguin, MessageLabs, Lovereading.co.uk and The Labour Party use Email Reaction software to manage communications with customers, prospects and members.

Using the simple content management system, users can create email messages, microsites and websites. Templates can be created and partially locked to enforce brand guidelines and consistency in design. The Email Reaction software manages the database, issues messages and fully tracks opens, bounces and clicks. Users can be identified as they arrive at landing pads, so that they need not repeat their registered details when requesting more information. The content of messages can be highly personalised, to ensure maximum click-through and sales. Email Reaction uses web services standards to integrate its software with CRM systems or other databases.

“RSS will be a valuable addition to the online marketing mix,” says Vicky Carne, managing director of Email Reaction. “It will enable companies to create personalised opt-in news feeds that will complement their email communications. By integrating RSS within Email Reaction’s software, we aim to make it as easy to create personalised RSS feeds as we have made it to create personalised emails.”

Visit stand W493 for a demonstration of Email Reaction’s software and to learn more about how RSS and email can be used to deliver more relevant, personalised and timely updates to website visitors, customers and prospects.
