MILANO, ITALY and RALEIGH, NC – April 12, 2006 – Accipiter Solutions, Inc., an online advertising technology innovator since 1996, today announced that it has strengthened its leadership position with a number of new customer wins and contract upgrades in Italy. New customer wins include Editoriale Domus, BBJ, StudentiMediaGroup, and iNet. A number of customers, including Tiscali, also signed new contracts to increase the number of ads served using Accipiter’s AdManager.

According to recent studies from Jupiter Research and the Interactive Advertising Bureau Europe, spend in online advertising across Europe has grown faster than any other advertising medium in history. Online advertising spend in Italy alone reached more than 137 million euros in 2005. That represents an 18% increase over 2004, which had already experienced a 16% increase over 2003.

Accipiter’s Italian momentum has been built by Market Solutions, which is led by general manager Massimo de Magistris, and is one of the most experienced and well respected teams in the new media space in Italy. These customers include a number of online and offline publishers and direct advertisers such as Libero, HP, Sharp, Conti Editore, The British Chamber of Commerce for Italy and others.

StudentiMediaGroup is the founder of www.studenti.it, the first Italian portal with the biggest teenage-based user community through which companies reach young people.

SportNetwork chose Accipiter’s AdManager to support the launch of its online advertising network, which includes the online edition of the second and third largest Italian sport newspapers and several other motor sports magazines.

Tiscali, a long-standing AdManager customer, is the main independent European telecommunication company with one of the largest and most interconnected IP networks in the world. Tiscali recently signed an upgrade to its licence to support the growth Tiscali is experiencing in the Italian online advertising market.
