~ turnover trebles, profit more than doubles as internet marketing group capitalises on rapid growth in online advertising, research and retail spend ~

TMN plc has today announced group results for year ending April 30 2006, which show considerable growth across all key metrics and which beat all expectations.

The group, one of the UK’s premier internet marketing specialists, has seen its annual turnover treble from £3m to £9m and its operating profit more than double from £733,000 to £1.70m. Earnings per share have also nearly trebled, from 1.2p to 3.5p. TMN plc’s record results exceeded significantly analyst expectations set earlier in 2006, of c. £6.5m turnover and c. £1.5m profit.

Notable developments in financial year 2005-6 include the acquisition of email advertising agency EDR and online research company iD Factor, building the group’s presence in the fast growing areas of online advertising, research and retail. All divisions made a strong contribution to growth:

TMN Media owns and manages 8 million email addresses and operates the UK’s most popular rewarded shopping portal. The underlying business grew by over 33% during the period.

EDR doubled revenues in the six months following its acquisition compared to the previous six months

iD Factor turned its performance around in March and April 2006, to make £50,000 in cumulative profit

In 2006-2007 broker Investec forecasts sales of £16m and profits of £3.2m.
