IMP Events sells ad:tech just five months after launch

In a joint statement today, exhibition organisers dmg world media andIMP Events have announced an agreement that will see dmg world media take full ownership of UK launch event ad:tech London.

ad:tech London, under the management expertise of IMP Events, is firmly established as the premier UK Exhibition and Conference exclusively dedicated to the online advertising and marketing sector, after one of the most successful trade exhibition launches since the dot.com boom of the late 1990s and early 2000s.

With over 100 exhibitors and over 3,000 ABC audited attendees, nearly double the original targets for the event, ad:tech London 2005 highlighted the demand from within the online marketing and advertising sector for increased awareness, debate and education. The success of the inaugural event, and sales to date for ad:tech London 2006, which already exceed the total contracted exhibition space at last year's event, also reinforce the anticipated rate of growth for the sector over forthcoming years.

dmg world media now owns the ad:tech portfolio for the USA, Europe and Asia, with further plans for oversees launches.
