Impressive line-up for Internet Retailer

London’s first Internet Retailer conference will bring leading experts from around the globe to provide the latest research and experiences of online trading. The event combines a high-level three-stream conference with a small exhibition area for key players and will provide retailers with a dedicated forum to explore all aspects on Internet retailing.

Internet Retailer 2006 is organised by Retail Events – well known for its established Retail Fraud conference and The Retail Business Show. “We have seen how conference on Internet retailing have grown rapidly in the US over the past three years,” says organiser Mark Pigou, “and we’re confident that Internet Retailer will have the same impact in the UK. We’re already receiving high levels of delegate bookings two months ahead of the conference and both exhibition space and sponsorship opportunities are close to being fully sold.”

The conference is divided into three full-day streams looking at:
• Marketing and consumer trends;
• Multi-channel technology and fulfilment; and
• Payments and strategic issues.

Speakers include:
• Laura Johnston, vp for CRM and loyalty at Travelocity in the US who will speak about building online loyalty and customer retention.
• Paul Miller, vp ecommerce at Williams-Sonoma – the US’s leading homewares chain – where online sales have now reached $800m p.a. who will focus on the role of e-commerce operations in a multi-channel business.
