NetNames Platinum Service protects Argos' key brands online

With over 44 per cent of shoppers in Europe choosing to buy online, it is crucial that retailers take steps to ensure that their domain names are protected on an ongoing basis. This is why Argos has chosen to work with NetNames, the UK's leading domain name management company, to consolidate over 300 website addresses owned by the retail group.

Argos, the UK's largest non-food retail chain, is using NetNames Platinum Service, a corporate domain name management service used by over 250 companies, to keep all of its names within the one service. This means their crucial online assets will be continually protected from unscrupulous operators on the Internet such as cybersquatters.

NetNames Platinum Service is a sophisticated domain name protection service that is used by top retailers, banks and travel companies, as a tool to safeguard brands online. The key brands protected by Platinum Service will include Argos, Homebase and Jungle.
