Fresca to design and build a new e-commerce store for Countrywide Farmers

Countrywide Farmers, the UK’s leading farming, equestrian & rural supplies business with over 40 retail stores, has selected Fresca Commerce, the on-demand e-commerce platform, to power their new e-commerce website which is due to go live later in 2006.

Countrywide Farmers retained Paul Mason Consulting, the Retail Systems experts, to help them manage a rigorous specification and selection process. Fresca was chosen from a list of 8 companies as the best fit solution for this important project.

Countrywide Farmers recognized the importance of choosing not only the right platform that would meet the demanding requirements of their new e-commerce store, but also the right partner who they could work with, for long-term business success. Fresca will supply a complete e-commerce web store, including website design, system development and integration of the Fresca Commerce Platform with the Priarch buying and merchandising system. Customers will have the option of home delivery or collection from store, and the Fresca Commerce fulfilment module will be integrated with Parcelforce to enable online tracking of deliveries. The Fresca Commerce service also includes managed hosting and on-going application maintenance and support.
