The UK Association of Online Publishers announces the last call for entries to this year’s AOP Online Publishing Awards, with the deadline for submissions on Friday 28th July. Now in their fifth year, the AOP Awards are dedicated to setting and applauding the highest standards in all aspects of multimedia digital publishing and providing industry recognition for those businesses that have excelled over the past 12 months. The awards will culminate in a black-tie awards ceremony at the London Hilton, Park Lane on the 4th October where the winners of these highly prized awards will be announced.

The AOP Awards celebrate excellence in all aspects of digital publishing and offer the opportunity to shine in fourteen categories and recognise outstanding achievement in the previous 12 months.

So don't delay, and submit a first class entry before the deadline on Friday 28 July for your chance to be an AOP award winner of 2006.

The awards ceremony will follow the annual AOP Online Publishing Conference. Themed 'Content Evolution', the AOP Conference will see the biggest names in UK online publishing explore the challenges facing originators of branded content in the new digital economy, plus the innovations and trends driving the industry forward. The conference includes a key panel on ‘The future of advertising’ which features Kirsti Wilson, managing director of Media.com and William Higham, founder of trend forecasting consultancy, Next Big Thing, as well as presentations from Guardian chief executive Carolyn McCall, Web 2.0 guru Tim O’Reilly, Incisive Media chief executive Tim Weller, BBC media correspondent Torin Douglas and many more.
