Browns Fashion, one of London’s most important fashion destinations, re-launches its online shop at http://www.brownsfashion.com in partnership with Screen Pages (http://www.screenpages.com).

Since 1970, Browns is a worldwide fashion landmark; founder Joan Burstein is credited with discovering such talents as John Galliano, Alexander McQueen, Hussein Chalayan and Comme des Garcons. Browns offers pieces that have been individually handpicked from the world’s top designers, backed by a personal service which provides the ultimate shopping experience for clothing and accessories, for men and women.

The new website, which has replaced Browns site, http://www.brownsfashion.com, has been designed and delivered as a fully bespoke e-commerce website by Screen Pages. Its aims include

* Improve online shopping experience, featuring navigation by designer and product type, an online “changing room”, “ask the expert” personal stylist, style magazine, wish lists, and new product presentation and layouts.

* Integrate with Browns’ Torex point-of-sale system for order processing and stock management, provide a platform which can support dramatically increased sales over the next three years

Screen Pages has a strong track record in delivering significant increases in online sales for premium and fashion brands including Smythson, Pickett, and N Peal. Emphasis is placed on customer acquisition, content and sales strategies for improving conversion ratios and finally, promotional and site design/usability tools to increase basket values.

Niki Scordi, Managing Director of Browns, said: "Our clients are increasingly using the Internet to extend their relationship with Browns, whether UK or internationally based. We want to offer the same vision and range of designer collections that we offer in store, for women, men and brides. At the same time, we aim to offer a wide range of online services to enhance our clients’ experience beyond what is already available. Screen Pages offered an understanding of our brand and demonstrated a track record of selling fashion products online.”

Roger Willcocks, Managing Director of Screen Pages said: "It’s a honour to be working with a world-class fashion leader as they expand online. Working with the Browns teams, we were able to combine practical e-commerce insight with powerful brand and service offerings.”
