The RSPB has launched a new range of gifts, home and garden wares, bird and wildlife care products and membership packages – all available via their new, improved home shopping website at

The new site, which is built on Shopcreator’s award-winning e-commerce software, incorporates additional bespoke functionality to accept online donations (with gift aid opt-ins) and a handy ‘shop with catalogue’ feature, providing a fast and simple way to locate and purchase products from RSPB’s mail order catalogue.

The range of featured products include Christmas gifts and accessories, as well as seasonal items, such as; luxury hampers, welly warmers, bird tables, books, waterproof binoculars and even a winter house for hedgehogs.

Orders are delivered within 5 working days and are available courtesy of the website being comprehensively integrated with existing systems, such as the RSPB’s fulfilment house and its sales order processing systems.

Marie France Mardi, Trading Sales and Marketing Manager at RSPB, comments, “Since launching the new website, we have witnessed a pronounced uplift in online orders. Online charitable donations are also up, which is fantastic. Another benefit is that web orders cost us less to process than paper or phone orders. This is all great news for the UK’s bird and wildlife population, since 100% of RSPB’s profits go to helping them survive and prosper.”

Andy Kitchener, Managing Director of Shopcreator adds, “The attractive new product range and additional site functionality provide a highly convenient shopping experience that will appeal to both new and existing RSPB customers. We expect the RSPB site to be in great demand, as increasing numbers of shoppers flock to the Internet for their seasonal shopping.”
