BHS has launched a new transactional website, featuring the range of school wear that came top of the class in this term's consumer survey conducted by Woman's Own.

The website, found at http://www.bhsschool.co.uk is powered by Shopcreator e-commerce software and offers a convenient method for busy consumers to kit out their kids in a wide range of school and sports wear that is designed to fit the nation.

The site is designed for ease of use and features one-click colour swatches, comprehensive size and symbol guides and additional product recommendations to help users shop quickly and easily.

Online real-time order tracking and a straight forward returns policy, which includes returning unsuitable goods to local stores, have also made the website an instant hit with consumers throughout mainland UK.

Sarah Lukins, Web Manager, at BHS comments, "Both our school wear and our website have been designed to make our customer's lives easier. The online shopping experience has been created to enable both seasoned and first-time Internet shoppers to make purchases quickly and with confidence. Notably, the website is attracting orders from established customers and also those who are new to BHS."

Andy Kitchener, Managing Director at Shopcreator comments, "Consumers are now expecting to be able to access high street ranges online. The BHS School site offers the quintessential combination of choice, value and convenience and will readily appeal to the growing community of Internet shoppers."
