Foviance, the expert in online experience management, has brought in Mark Gristock as its new Head of Marketing. Mark replaces Ian Thomas who has relocated to Washington to take up the position of MSN’s Director of Customer Intelligence.

In his new role, Mark has responsibility for all Foviance’s marketing activity, with a particular focus on brand development and company positioning for the UK and Europe.

Mark was formerly Marketing Director at twentysix London, one of the UK’s largest digital communications agencies. He has 10-years experience in digital media and brings to Foviance a strong pedigree in client-agency relationships. Mark’s first role in the industry was Marketing Director for AMX digital, and he went on to hold the same position at Incepta Online.

Commenting on his appointment, Mark said: “I joined Foviance because I couldn’t resist the chance to play a significant role in something so exciting and pioneering. The company’s combination of quantitative and qualitative analytics into a single entity is viewed by analysts as the next generation of usability and web analytics.

“The challenge for me is to communicate the value and vision of the Foviance brand and its services. The team here is intelligent, passionate and committed to the success of its clients. I am determined to make sure that the company’s innovation and expertise achieves its rightful value in the marketplace.”

About Foviance:

Notes to Editors
Foviance teams usability consultancy with web analytics to offer one of the world’s most cutting-edge online customer experience services.

The company is the result of the merger between WebAbacus and The Usability Company in April 2005, bringing together the powerful web analytics technology of the former with the usability expertise of the latter. The result is a ground-breaking combination of analytics software and survey technology with Human Computer Interaction (HCI) qualified usability consultancy.

Foviance offers expert usability services, in depth analysis of users’ online behaviour and an innovative Experience Management Programme.

The Experience Management Programme is a European first, providing organisations with a detailed picture of what happens when customers use their digital services, and advice on how to improve this experience.

Foviance boasts 43 of the UK FTSE 100 companies among its client roster, including the Department of Trade and Industry, Barclays Bank, Camelot, BSkyB, LG Electronics, RNIB and CharcolOnline.
