Appointment follows £2.5m private equity investment to support intensive UK marketing drive, the reward based consumer website, has appointed former Thomson Directories General Manager (Internet) Brian Harrison as its UK managing director.

This follows the £2.5m backing from Hotbed, the private investor network, announced in October. Brian Harrison has joined the team to spearhead use of this investment to drive revenue and achieve one million members by end of 2007.
