Internet marketing consultancy and training provider Hallam Communications has been appointed by ArtsDerbyshire to develop and deliver its online marketing strategy.

Hallam (www.hallam.biz) has been commissioned to produce a long term Internet marketing strategy for the site, as well as project managing the resulting marketing and e-communications plan.

The Arts Derbyshire site will be officially launched in February 2007, and aims to be the recognised leader of arts information in Derbyshire. The site will enable members of the public to learn more about the arts in Derbyshire, and will act as an information resource and support mechanism for people working in the arts.

Artists, arts organisations, and arts venues will be targeted in 2007, prompting them to register on the site. They will have the opportunity to provide details of forthcoming arts events, arts venues for hire, artist profiles, and opportunities to take part in arts activities.

Susan Hallam, Managing Director of Hallam Communications comments: “I’m very pleased to be working with ArtsDerbyshire at this exciting time. By committing time and effort to developing their Internet marketing strategy, the managers of the new www.artsderbyshire.org website will set a solid foundation for achieving success in supporting and promoting the creative arts economy in Derbyshire.”
