Casual cruise company Ocean Village have launched their new website at to help first-time cruisers take to the water with confidence. They chose Nucleus, the web design specialists, for their focus on the travel sector, to create a fresh new look with clearer navigation and a more intuitive structure.

The re-worked site links in panoramic pictures on-board and mini-adventure movies ashore on relevant pages. Previously, visitors had to open the whole virtual tour to look at specific rooms on the ship, and could only access Action Ashore footage from one entry point.

As well as making it easier to see what Ocean Village is all about, a new holiday search facility makes checking availability relating to specific dates, regional airports and destination much quicker and easier. The brand new design also features ‘quick links’ so people can roam through the site without needing to return to the homepage.

Gill Haynes, Head of Marketing, Ocean Village says: “Our new site takes Ocean Village to a new level and gives an even better feel for what our very different take on cruising is all about.”
