ARCA, the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association, committed to promoting the growth and image of the UK’s asbestos abatement industry are holding an open day for local companies and trade press.

As the principal trade association for the asbestos industry, ARCA is recognised as being the leading provider of practical asbestos training courses in the UK. The courses they provide are delivered by specialists from within the asbestos industry at a number of bespoke practical centres throughout the country, including the new Rayleigh site.

The launch of their brand new, state of the art training centre in Rayleigh, will take place on Friday the second of March, where visitors will have the opportunity to discuss their training needs.

The Health and Safety Executive rightly placed great emphasis on the needs for practical training at all levels within the asbestos removal industry, including associated ancillary workers. ARCA training courses have been designed not only to comply with the requirements of the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2006, but also to provide thorough understanding and practical guidance to enable people to work safely within the asbestos removal industry.

A number of seminars are taking place throughout the country, these seminars are hosted by ARCA in response to the new Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2006.
