Go Interiors, the largest independent distributor of specialist interior building products in the UK is nearing the completion of its latest project for the London Borough of Islington.

Due to the ‘service driven’ attitude of Go Interiors, their Harpenden depot has been involved in the innovative development of a new build North Community School situated on Popham Road, Islington.

The main contractors for the 1.7 million new primary school are Bluestone plc part of Morgan Sindall. Go Interiors supplied 150k of Suspended Ceiling and Dry lining products including 35,000m of plasterboard, fire protection and insulation to their customer Dacorum Contracts Ltd.

“Go Interiors’s ability to manage the supply chain was exceptional, they ensured all our required products were on site on time and provided us with a product range to complement the specialist and innovative style of the build, which was second to none” said Simon Wilson, Director, Dacorum Contracts Ltd. “We were highly satisfied with the level of service, and will continue to work closely with Go in the future.”

Funded from income generated from the private housing development trust, the school will play a major part in community renewal and includes a children’s centre and educational facilities that will be open to the community during out of school hours.

Not only does this revolutionary project take part in community regeneration but has also been developed using a range of sustainable materials incorporating recycled and environmentally friendly products where possible.

“Personal service is the key philosophy of Go interiors and the rationale of our success so far” said Darren Moore, Go Interiors Harpenden Depot Manager. “We were delighted to be involved in this landmark project and believe this was thanks to our extensive product range and our guaranteed outstanding service.”

Having been just named as one of the Sunday Times, Fast Track 100, fastest growing companies of 2006, Go Interiors now has 5 depots nationwide, each employing highly skilled entrepreneurs, who enjoy running and growing their depots.
