Interactive agency Cimex recently collaborated with partner agency DRY to develop fashion brand Ben Sherman’s first UK online store alongside an exciting and interactive re-designed brand website.

With our groundbreaking new .com site, we have translated our rich brand heritage into a platform where users can experience the Ben Sherman brand and be more interactive than ever before,” said Jamie Hall, Global Marketing Manager Ben Sherman.

The new online site functions as a stand-alone Ben Sherman store with transactional operations being managed in conjunction with Littlewoods. The digital platform offers a unique fashion brand experience capturing the brand ethos and Ben Sherman attitude.

Cimex was responsible for the Information Architecture and build of the site, while DRY came up with the design look and feel.

As the Ben Sherman business continues to grow internationally, the introduction of the UK e-commerce site is a major part of the global marketing strategy, driven by consumer demand and an evolution of consumer purchasing patterns.

Celebrating an unrivaled heritage, the site features a music and cultural timeline exploring the influences behind the Ben Sherman brand since birth in 1963 to present date. Brand news & events, stockist information and links to community sites such as youtube and myspace are also included.

Communication with users is key; Customer competitions and weekly illustrated newsletters will be posted to subscribers to update on product and brand news.
