Online professional development opportunities for creative and cultural leaders

Creative & Cultural Skills is working with the Cultural Leadership Programme to deliver Creative Knowledge Lab - a comprehensive online intelligence, advice and guidance portal for everyone working in or seeking to join the creative and cultural industries.

Creative Knowledge Lab will assist people in the sector to identify the skills they already have, discover the jobs they could aim for in future and what it will take to move up. It’ll help enable informed decisions about the best way to learn new skills, identify career development pathways and how best to access relevant training and experience.
Due to launch in November 2007, Creative Knowledge Lab is for sector professionals at all stages of their careers - from entry level through to senior management.
As part of the development of this unique learning resource, we’re now offering free access to online assessment tools and e-learning for leaders in the sector. Both are designed to assists leaders at all stages of their careers to develop and manage their leadership progression and potential.

E Assessment

The e-Assessment pilot is targeted at emerging or current leaders who:
• Want to understand more about their leadership style and impact
• Would like to receive one- to- one feedback to help them implement the assessment findings

E Learning

The e-learning pilot is targeted at emerging or current leaders who:
• Are keen to improve a particular management and leadership skill
• Would like to try a learning solution that is flexible and easy to access

By taking part in this pilot exercise you’ll learn about yourself and your career potential. And you’ll help ensure that Creative Knowledge Lab meets the needs of real people in the real world.
