Leading on-line business intelligence company, Site Intelligence, has announced the appointment of Jamie Eykyn as its new Chairman. Jamie brings with him a wealth of knowledge gained from work within pioneering technology companies such as Shuttle Technology, a joint Anglo-Indian venture which was sold to SCM Microsystems USA in 1998 for $33 million.

Jamie’s entrepreneurial approach saw him conduct one of the very first management buyouts in the UK acquiring Ticket Equipment Ltd in 1981. He is also founder, shareholder and Chairman of e2Train Limited, the UK’s market leader in Learning Management Systems. e2Train was runner-up in the Deloitte & Touche Rising Star Technology Awards 2005; a ranking of the fastest growing technology companies in the London & Southern Region. In addition Jamie holds a number of other Chairmanships across various other companies and initiatives and was High Sheriff of Gloucestershire in 1998/99.

The position at Site Intelligence has been created in order to assist the company with its ambitious growth plans; more details of which will be announced later in the year. Site Intelligence already boasts a client list including Argos, Boots, Dyson, Royal Bank of Scotland and SAP, with key wins over the past year including Tesco and Open University.

David Jackson, CEO of Site Intelligence, comments: “Site Intelligence is entering a phase of high growth with a number of key announcements expected during 2007 in terms of geographical expansion and partnership activity. Jamie’s experience is the perfect fit for us and we look forward to many prosperous years ahead.”
