Alice Mallick joins Harvest Digital as Account Director

Online marketing agency Harvest Digital has recruited Alice Mallick to be an Account Director specialising in charity and travel. She joins from Media Contacts, where she managed the TUI account devising the online marketing strategy across their seven brands, and has previously worked at All Response Media, TMP Worldwide and Agency.com on brands including Oxfam and Barnados.

Mallick will be responsible for directing the online marketing strategy for clients including Cruise Thomas Cook, Cheapflights, Shelter and The Salvation Army. Reporting to director Emma Wilson, she will lead a team integrating creative, display advertising, search and affiliate marketing to provide a full-service.

With seven years in the online marketing industry, Mallick’s client experience includes other travel clients and charity brands as well as telecoms brand such as BT, O2 and OneTel, and major brands like Smirnoff. Prior to Media Contacts, Mallick was a Senior Online Planner at All Response Media and spent two years at TMP Worldwide before that as an Online Media Producer. She has a Masters Degree in International Law and Finance and began her career as a New York lawyer on clients including Publicis.

Alice Mallick’s experience of the creative use of media and her understanding of the travel sector will help her optimise campaigns across media to deliver results for clients.’

Also joining is Alexandra Jones as an Account Executive. Formerly Marketing Executive at Corus, she has also worked as an advertising assistant at OMD and Tourism South Wales. She holds a degree in Media and Cultural Studies from Liverpool John Moores University. Harvest is a currently recruiting for positions in its media, creative and search and affiliate teams to support increased demand for that channel from clients across all sectors of the business.

Harvest Digital’s charity clients include Shelter, Breakthrough Breast Cancer and The Salvation Army while travel sector clients include full service marketing for Cruise Thomas Cook and Cheapflights. The agency recently conducted extensive research into the online travel market in conjunction with Nielsen//NetRatings and Adviva which revealed that 55% of internet users book holidays online whilst only 7% of internet users book on the high street, and that two thirds of internet users take two or more holidays a year.
