IPC pilots white label pay-per-click search engine from Adprecision
London May 12 2007

IPC Media has signed an agreement to install Adprecision's AdTarget Publisher Search Engine on myholidayideas.com - the holiday destination website from TVTimes.

The trial of the vertical market search advertising platform will allow the sales team to sell contextual and search advertising directly to their advertisers across the website.

Chris Templeman, IPC advertising director said: "Adprecision's technology enables us to extend our long-standing relationships with advertisers onto myholidayideas.com. The technology also delivers highly relevant advertisements targeted to our users' interests, leading to increased site loyalty and satisfaction."

The AdTarget system from Adprecision allows websites to create their own vertical market pay-per-click search engines ranging from travel to property, electronics, photography and motoring. AdTarget gives them direct control of the publisher/advertiser relationship along with flexibility over formats, ad rankings and ad rates. Designed specifically to meet the needs of publishers and portals, the search engine technology allows each advertiser to submit regular automated product feeds of their inventory directly into the ad library for contextual and search based adserving.

Alasdair Cross, Adprecision Commercial Director, says: "Like other publishers that we talk to, IPC Media wanted the freedom to sell their own search and contextual classified advertising directly to customers. Our technology has allowed them to build a Travel vertical advertising market giving them the control and revenue they need and providing a valuable user experience."

About Adprecision
Adprecision is a Search Technology company based in Manchester, UK and supplies Search Advertising solutions to media owners and advertisers. AdTarget, their vertical market white label pay-for-placement Search Engine, gives control of the ad sales process back to publishers allowing them the opportunity to sell their own search based advertising to both large and small advertisers.

AdTarget serves the publishers ads both contextually next to relevant content and also from a free-text or parameterised search box. Unlike network ad-sales, each Publisher has complete control of their own advertising rates, ad formats, rankings and other features offering higher ad revenues than a network sale. The system also allows large advertisers to upload their entire inventory datafeed ensuring highly accurate and relevant advertising for the site's users.

UK publishers include national newspapers such as The Telegraph.co.uk and Express.co.uk, whilst over 180 UK advertisers now use their ad serving technology including Thomas Cook, Hoseasons Holidays, Cosmos Holidays, Airline Network, Barratt Homes, QVC and many others.
