Amsterdam, 10 July 2007 – Nedstat announces the appointment of Fred Appelman as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). As member of the Management Board and Head of the IT department, Appelman will lead the technical team in developing and managing next generation’s analytics services. Appelman will report directly to Michael Kinsbergen, Nedstat’s CEO.

Appelman brings 20 years IT and management experience in e-commerce, online payment systems and business critical ASP solutions. From 2000 he worked at Internet payment company Bibit where he was appointed CTO in 2002. When Royal Bank of Scotland acquired Bibit in 2004 Appelman joined the management team of RBS Retailer Solutions that, in addition to Bibit, also consisted of Worldpay, Streamline, Streamline International and Hanco.
