8th June 2007, London, UK – The Technology Works, the media solutions business that provides technology products to meets customers online and offline marketing needs, today announced that it has appointed Mick Empson as Managing Director. Mick had previously been running his own business, advising companies such as Boots on customer loyalty and partnerships, and has also held key roles at Agency.com, British Gas Business, and British Airways.

Ben Gibson, formerly Client Services Director, has now assumed responsibility as Regional Vice President for the Asia Pacific region, following growth of The Technology Works’ business in Japan. The company now boasts several of the top Japanese search agencies as customers of its BidBuddy® search management technology, and is currently working to assist the migration of these clients to the new Yahoo! ‘Panama’ platform which launched in Japan last month. Damian Routley, formerly Group Account Director at sister company The Search Works, has taken over Ben’s previous role as Client Services Director, Europe.
