Cambridge, United Kingdom, 01 August 2007 – Zeus Technology, a leading provider of award-winning application traffic management software, today announced the expansion of the company’s executive management team with the appointment of Dave Asprey as Vice President Technology Strategy.

Asprey will be responsible for defining technology strategy, driving strategic OEM development projects, and identifying new target markets and products for the company. Asprey will also provide architectural leadership for Zeus’ future product development.

Prior to joining Zeus, Asprey was Director of Product Management at Citrix’s NetScaler application networking division, where he was responsible for WAN optimization and application networking acceleration. He also held strategic planning and director-level roles at Citrix, Akamai and Savvis. Asprey has more than 10 years of technology leadership experience in the application networking, content distribution, and internet hosting industries.

Dave Asprey is a technology strategy and product marketing professional with strong expertise in application networking, web hosting, monitoring & management, and scalable internet architecture.

He has held director-level positions in product management and strategy for Citrix Systems, Speedera Networks (acquired by Akamai), Exodus Communications (now Savvis), where he was a founder of the 1500-person Professional Services Division.
