Multimap, Europe’s number one online mapping and location-based services provider, today announced the rollout of its Storefinder proximity search service for Principles, the leading women’s fashion brand for ‘thirty something’ women looking for great style, quality and value. The implementation of this service for Principles is by Fresca, the leading e-commerce solutions provider and website design agency specializing in on-demand e-commerce and managed hosting services. Customers can now easily find their nearest Principles shop in two simple steps. Multimap was selected on the basis of the accuracy and richness of its maps and their speed of delivery, and the worldwide reputation the company enjoys for smooth implementations and competitive pricing.

Beverley Imrie, Head of Marketing, Principles said, “With so many stores and stockists of Principles across the UK to cater for our ever-growing customer base, it was clear that we needed to equip our customers with the location information they needed to find and visit a nearby store. We have found that Multimap’s reputation for excellence in the implementation and maintenance of its services, and the quality of the maps delivered, is well-deserved. Feedback from our end-users about the usefulness of the service, and indeed from our outlets about the resultant increase in footfall, has been really positive to date. We are pleased to have selected Multimap as our mapping partner!

“In fact, we are pleased to say that Multimap and Fresca both played a considerable role in Mosaic Fashion’s recent win of the European Retail Solutions Awards for ‘Best use of e-commerce in a retail environment’ (applying to Mosaic Fashion’s highly successful websites - Principles, Warehouse and The Shoe Studio),” she continued.

To access an interactive map pinpointing the exact location of their nearest Principles store, visitors to www.principles.co.uk select the ”store locator” link at the top of every page, enter their postcode or town and street, and hit “search”. Multimap delivers a list of the top 10 nearest Principles stores beneath the map delivered, along with full contact details, distance from location entered by the customer, and a link to a map showing its precise location, and further details including opening hours. Users can pan N,S,E,W and zoom in/out to adjust their view.

Nick Reeve of Multimap, stated, “We are pleased to have worked with Fresca to deliver our immensely useful Storefinder service to customers of Principles. By virtue of being at once easy-to-digest and quickly accessed, our maps increase the likelihood of an online customer proceeding to visit a store. This is what our 1,200-plus business customers across the globe have been telling us for over a decade, and we are pleased to welcome Principles on board to the great benefit of its customers too!”
