Bloom Media have won a much coveted Dadi Award for ‘Best Technical Innovation’. The awards were organised by national magazine ‘The Drum’ and are designed to celebrate the achievements of digital agencies outside of the M25. The prestigious awards ceremony was held on the 28th of June in Glasgow and was attended by some of the biggest names in new media. Judges for the awards included; Phil Jones Managing Director, Real Time Consultancy, Franco Beschizza, Team Head of Digital, Central Office of Information and Richard Holley, Interactive Art Director for Diesel. Bloom Media won the award for our work on the highly innovative ‘Brick Visualiser’, developed for Hanson UK, one of the world's principal heavy building materials companies. Hanson are the world's foremost producers of aggregates - crushed rock, sand and gravel - and one of the biggest producers of concrete products, clay bricks and ready-mixed concrete. The Brick Visualiser is an online application that allows Hanson customers to view thousands of different brick and mortar configurations on different house designs.
